Sonogram!

My sonogram was AMAZING!!! It was so awesome to see the baby move and the heart beating. I can't believe there's actually a tiny baby inside me :) The tech said everything looked perfect. The baby was so active. It was waving, throwing punches, and bouncing around! I can't wait until my next one, which is at 20 weeks. My next docs appointment is November 20th and if they schedule the sonogram exactly a month after that then we'll be able to find out the gender the day before we leave to go visit family in MA for Christmas. God is good!

11 Weeks, 2 days

There are only 8 days left until my sonogram! I invited my mom to come with my husband and I so that will be nice :) The nausea has come back unfortunately, so eating these days is a chore. I just want to be able to eat normal again and not be so picky. I also had a pain yesterday that was shooting from my bellybutton down to my groin and back up and it was worrying me because it was so painful. I think it may just be gas though because I'm so backed up these days :/ My husband and I have names picked out which are Avery Grace for a girl and Liam Daniel for a boy. We have had the name Avery Grace picked out since we were dating so we knew we were going with that one. Liam was the only boy name that we could agree on and Daniel is my brothers name. I have a feeling that I'm having a girl and my husband has always thought that our first child would be a girl. My mother and father in-law are absolutely convinced that this baby is a girl (wishful thinking) because they already have two grandsons and would love a granddaughter! I guess if I had the power to choose I would choose to have a girl first, but in no way will I be disappointed with a little boy :) I just hope that we find out the sex before December 19th, which is when we are going to Massachusetts for two weeks to visit my husbands family for Christmas. I would love to tell them in person and of course go shopping while we're there. I'll be 20 weeks on December 15th (if my due date stays the same at my sonogram) so I should be able to find out before we go.

Chugging along...

I'm 9 weeks and 2 days and I'm feeling so much better lately! I get more excited everyday about our little baby, which right now is the size of a green olive! The biggest change I've been going through is with my breasts. I'm growing out of my bras :( My pants are also getting a little tighter with my expanding "pooch". It's driving me crazy that I still have to wait 3 more weeks to get my sonogram and hear the heartbeat. I can't help but worry if everything is ok, but I know that I'm in God's hands.
