A little progress

I went to the doctor Wednesday and she said that my cervix is softening a little bit and I am 1 cm dialated. That's it. I guess I'm happy that it's atleast some progress. My next appointment is on Monday and I'm dreading getting checked again (ouch!). I have mixed emotions on the whole thing. I want to get it over with and meet our little girl, but I am scared to death of labor and delievery! I guess we'll see what happens Monday!

39 weeks

Belly Measurement: 43 3/4"

I've been having alot of braxton hicks contractions and today I had some menstrual like cramping that hurt a little more than it usually does. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow so we'll see if I've dialated at all!

38 weeks

Belly Measurement: 43 1/2" (an inch up from last week!)

All I can say is that this little girl is LOCKED & LOADED! She is so low and actually making me walk cross legged. She kept hitting some nerve down there today while I was in a store and stopping me in my tracks. I'm really ready for her to come out now. I'm really scared about labor though! I am seriously the biggest baby when it comes to pain. I know God will get me through it though. Oh, I also have a cold right now so that's no fun. Being 38 weeks pregnant and having a cold makes for crappy sleep that's for sure. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow so maybe they'll check me for dialation? Until next time!

37 weeks

Belly Measurement: 42 1/2"

I had my doctors appointment yesterday at 37 weeks and saw that I gained 5 POUNDS in a week! Yikes! I think I need to lay off the milkshakes. She didn't check me for dialation. I'm not sure when they start checking for that? I've really enjoyed being pregnant, but I'm pretty sure I'm over it now and would like to have my normal body back. I've grown to hate sleep now because it's just not comfortable and it's painful switching from side to side all night. We are definitely ready to get this show on the road and meet Miss Avery Grace! There's 20 days until my due date, but maybe she will grace us with her presence on my birthday (April 24th)?

36 weeks & an ultrasound

Belly measurement: 42"

I honestly can't believe that I'm 36 weeks pregnant! It's amazing how fast pregnancy goes by. I went to a doctors appointment today and got a sonogram and also got the gbs swab done. Ouch. We'll be going to the doctor every week now. This beautiful baby girl is going to be here before we know it! Here is our lovey at 36 weeks gestation:
