Big girl!

ATTENTION:

We have a big girl! She is crawling all over the place & pulling up on EVERYTHING! She crawled when she was 7 months & 3 weeks old. I got her first crawl on video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDINerDRKjM

Just this week she has been pulling up to stand on anything she can find.

It's definitely time for a baby gate too! She loves leaving the living room and crawling to the kitchen. Then, she takes a big handful of cat food haha!

Eight Months Old

At eight months old Avery:

-is wearing 6-12 month size clothing & size 1 or 2 shoes

-wears size 3 diapers

-eats 6 oz. formula every three hours & three meals of food a day

-has eaten butternut squash, peas, green beans, apples, bananas, rice cereal, oatmeal, carrots, yogurt melts, puffs, & rice rusks

-can hold her sippy cup on her own

-says "mamamama" when she's upset

-is CRAWLING!

-is pulling halfway up to her knees on things & pulling up to stand in her bassinet

-is still sleeping in her bassinet (travel lite pack n' play) in our room...BUT we're making the transition to her crib in her nursery THIS WEEK...I know, I know!

-loves to blow raspberries & mimic people

-has one tooth and the second one is coming in

First time she held her sippy cup by herself

Avery's first Christmas

We had an awesome Christmas! We went to my parent's house on Christmas Eve for a party and it was so much fun. Christmas morning was very special to me because not only was it Avery's first Christmas, but it was my husband and I's first Christmas at our own place! Last year we went to Massachusetts for Christmas and the year before that (when we were living in MA) we spent Christmas here in Pennsylvania.
