Wordless Wednesday

Good day

Today I had some good quality girl time! My mom watched Avery while I went to a movie and out to lunch with my brother's girlfriend. It's nice to feel like I have some sort of social life haha!

When I got home, Avery and I had some visitors. My cousin Kyla came over with her son Landon. Landon was born at 35 weeks gestation (he's now 10 days old). He is so tiny and precious! It's funny how Avery looks like a giant baby next to Landon, even though she is still quite the peanut herself :p

4 1/2 Months Post-Partum

I weigh 5 lbs. less than my pre-pregnancy weight! Yay! However, it doesn't look the same. I'm ok with that. I'm currently trying to lose another ten pounds because I wasn't in the best shape when I got pregnant. Avery and I have been walking everyday, but it's really starting to get chilly out now :(

Ok, am I some sort of weirdo or has anyone else lost a ton of hair after having a baby? I lose so much of it in the shower everyday!

Our Florida Vacation

We had an awesome time on vacation! Avery did so well in the car! I was pleasantly surprised. The drive was about 12 hours the first day and 7 the next to get down there. We just hung around my grandma's house and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. My parents went with us so it was nice to have them there. Here are a few photos:

I miss the warm weather so much! We are having nice mid 70 degree weather right now, but it's quickly going to turn cold (boo). The winters here get really bad and we get tons of snow. I've been going on walks with Avery and my mom everyday to take advantage of the last warm weather we're going to get because I have a feeling Avery and I are going to be cooped up in the house alot.

Avery is going on her first family vacation this Friday! We're driving to Florida (which takes a day and a half) so I hope she does o.k. in the car for that long. We'll be staying at my grandma's vacation house there from Saturday-Friday. I'm so excited! Please pray for a safe trip for us :)

Four Months Old

At four months old Avery:

-can wear some 0-3 month clothes and 3-6 month (some are still too big)
-is wearing size 2 diapers
-is starting to actually laugh more
-is on all formula (boo...don't even get me started :( )
-is still a "snacker" and I can hardly get her to eat even 6 oz. at a time
-sleeps about 8 hours at night
-loves her jumperoo
-makes alot of noise squealing!
-still loves her bath and getting her diaper and clothes changed
-holds toys
-hasn't gotten cereal since the one time I had her try it. I decided I'm going to wait until she's 6 months to start any solids
-is still sleeping in her bassinet in our room. She sleeps in there until she wakes up for her first feeding and then she goes back to sleep in our bed.
-rolls over from back to belly and belly to back. She's become quite the squirmer!
-loves to go for walks in her stroller

My little girl is growing up fast! I love every minute of it :)
