Well, here we are at 33 weeks already! My doctor said that I should be getting a sonogram at my 36 week appointment so I'm really excited about that. I also want to confirm that she is in fact a girl because just this week I've had 3 different people tell me about how they know someone that just recently found out they were having a boy instead of a girl just weeks before delivering.
I also noticed that alot of people tend to give me "advice" that I really don't need or comments that are always negative. For example: "You better get your sleep now because once that baby gets here you'll be lucky to get a few hours of sleep a night!" or "You'll notice that you won't be leaving the house as much because it'll become a huge process just to get the baby ready to go" or "Oh yea breastfeeding hurts so bad, it was miserable at first". Why do people focus on all the negative things? How about a comment like "Your life is going to change so much for the better".
I'm off to North Carolina this coming weekend with my mom, cousin, and grandma. It's going to be a ten hour drive. Then the following weekend I'm going to Massachusetts for my baby shower and that is a nine hour drive. Oh boy, that is ALOT of driving (or riding). My doctor just suggested that I get out of the car around every two hours to walk around.
We're getting so excited to see what our baby girl is going to look like. Is she going to have dark hair like her daddy or brownish red hair like her mommy? Is she going to have darker skin like my husband or pale skin like me? Whatever she looks like, she's going to be beautiful and we're going to love her so much!
T-minus 7 weeks & counting!
