6 weeks (7/30/12)

I'm 6 weeks pregnant today! I can't believe it's been two weeks since I found out. The time has gone by slow and fast at the same time.

The nausea has really set in. Like feeling like poo all day everyday. I've been very picky about what I eat, also. Nothing really sounds good to eat. Soup is always a good choice, though.

My first doctor's appointment is this Thursday, August 2nd. I'll have an interview with a nurse, my prenatal appointment, and blood work. I hope they schedule me for a sonogram so we can make sure everything is ok in there. I'm so thankful that God has blessed us again and that everything seems to be going good so far.

YES! (7/19/12)

I just found out three days ago (7/16) that I'm pregnant! I'm so happy! I took the test first thing in the morning around 6 am and ran upstairs to wake my husband up and tell him immediately. My best friend from Massachusetts was visiting here for the week and the morning that she left I got the positive test. It was fun to share the excitement with her! I haven't made a doctor's appointment yet. I'm going to wait until Monday, when it has been a week since I got the positive, to schedule an appointment. I just don't want them doing that early of a sonogram this time. The only symptoms I've had are sore breasts, mild cramping, and fatigue. According to my LMP I'm 4 weeks and 3 days. I have a peace about this pregnancy that everything will go well. I'm so beyond grateful that God has blessed us again. He is good.

Worry implies that we don't quite trust that God is
big enough
powerful enough
or loving enough
to take care of what's happening in our lives.

27 Months Old

At 27 months old, Avery:

-is always singing the ABC's

-still loves her milk in a bottle (I've learned not to set a deadline for these things)

-is so cuddly and loves to give me kisses and hugs

-likes Blue's Clue's at the moment

-talks a lot. Many people think she's older than 2 just because of her speech

-can count to 14 and knows all of her shapes (and even the difference between an octagon and a pentagon!)

-is starting to be a little less shy and more outgoing with other kids

Pity Party For One Please...

I'm throwing myself a pity party. I was so sure I was pregnant this month and low and behold, AF shows up yesterday. What a jerk. This was our first month ttc since the mc and for some reason my hopes were EXTREMELY high. Not doing that again!

Well, I guess I'm done feeling sorry for myself.

-has some favorite phrases such as "I sure do!", "Don't talk about it", & "Whatcha doin?!"
