Parade

We went to a parade on Saturday. The weather was perfect and Avery really enjoyed it! She mostly just sat there quietly, but cracked a few smiles. When she is really into something, she is very serious.

Daddy had to walk her up and down the sidewalk before it started.

Watching a parade is serious business!

They were throwing stuffed animals and Avery took quite a liking to her little purple bunny.

Of course she had to have a little taste of a sucker :)

It was a great day!

Trip to Massachusetts

We went to visit Brendan's family in Massachusetts August 23rd through the 29th. Avery got to see her Aunt Kitty, Auntie, Uncle, two cousins, and her Grammy & Pepere! They hadn't seen her since her birthday in May. We had a great time! Unfortunately, we didn't have such a great trip home. We left the day after Hurricane Irene, and part of I90 was closed. The trip is supposed to be 9 hours but it turned into 17 hours! Traffic was moving slowly winding through small towns. Considering she was in the car for that length of time, Avery did amazing! Here are some pictures from our trip.

On to the next

Unfortunately I'm on CD 2 so we didn't get pregnant this month. I was really hoping that it would be this month so that we could tell my husband's family in person. We're going to visit them in MA from the 23rd to the 29th of this month. They haven't seen Avery since her birthday three months ago, so it'll be exciting to see them. I guess it's on to the next cycle!

We went to a family reunion today at my grandmother's house. There was a lot of good food and we had fun.

Brendan was giving Avery a ride on the bike. She really liked it!

I wanted another picture of all of us, because the sun was in our faces in the last picture (on the 4th of July weekend).

Still looking, CD 16, & my cute girl

We're still looking for a house. Hopefully we are going to look at one this coming week. It's a 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath with a nice back yard.

I'm on CD 16 and waiting to ovulate. This is my second cycle ttc #2! I'm really hoping this is the month because we are going to visit my husband's family in August and we would get to tell them in person!
