27 Weeks

Belly Measurement: 39"

Hello Third trimester! I'm happy to see you! Now that the baby is due in 13 weeks (yeah...that's not that long) we really need to start preparing! We have to clear out our guest room and turn it into a play room for Avery/ nursery for Elise. She won't be sleeping in there because Avery's room and our room is upstairs and the guest room is downstairs, but we will be decorating it as a nursery and putting her clothes/crib in there. I guess she can just take naps in her crib while we are downstairs. She will be sleeping in a travelite pack n' play by our bed for the first few months. After that, I'm not sure what we'll do! We are desperately trying to find a new house BEFORE the baby is born (yikes, it's getting close!), but if that doesn't happen, then we definitely want to be out of here by the Summer!

As for major baby buys, the only things we need for Elise are a car seat and double stroller. I'd also love to get an Ergo this time around. We are definitely SET on newborn clothes ( we're technically set on all sizes...but who am I kidding...I know I can't help myself from buying some new clothes as well) for her. I saved everything of Avery's plus I have bought quite a few newborn outfits. Since Avery was born in May, a lot of her newborn clothes are short sleeved, so I bought some long sleeve for this little love. I think I'm going to have to get rid of some of Avery's newborn clothes that I'm not in love with so we don't end up with too much.  I also bought her coming home outfit! I'll post a picture of that in my next post.

Oh, and she has had the hiccups quite a few times this week. So cute! 

26 Weeks

Belly Measurement: 38 1/4"

There's nothing new to say really. The weeks are just flying by! The 3rd trimester is just around the corner and I'm welcoming it with open arms. I'm so excited for March, but on the other hand, I know I'll miss being pregnant. This pregnancy is going so so fast. I just love feeling this little girl move and I can't wait to see her beautiful face!

Today I had a doctor's appointment and everything went perfectly. I'll have my next appointment in four weeks and then after that my appointments will be every two weeks! What?! That is just insane to me. I'll be doing my glucose test at my next appointment. I just can't believe how fast this is all going!

23 Weeks

Belly Measurement: 37 3/4"

This week unfortunately I caught a 24 hour flu (that my husband has also) and it's AWFUL! I feel like I can't be a mom to Avery and it's killing me. I'm also trying not to worry about Elise. I hope she isn't affected by all the throwing up etc. :( 

                                                

22 Weeks

We went to visit my husband's family in Massachusetts for Thanksgiving. It was a really nice trip and it will be the last time we see them before Elise is born!
