Weight: 145 lbs.

36 weeks?! Wow! I had my doctor's appointment today and we got to see our beautiful girl. She is precious and I cannot wait to kiss her sweet face. The tech said that we have a "perfect baby" in there and everything looked great. Praise God! Oh, we also double checked that she's still a girl. No surprises here! I also only gained one pound since my last appointment!

35 Weeks

Belly Measurement: 41 1/2"

There's not too much to say about this week. I've noticed she is moving a lot more than before. Her movements seemed to slow down for a bit, but she's making up for it now. I can't wait to see her at my ultrasound in 6 days!

34 Weeks

Belly Measurement: 41 1/4 "

Weight: 144 lbs 

I'm a little late posting this, considering I'll be 35 weeks on Monday. Better late than never! 

So...yeah, that's an inch of growth in a week. I knew that I felt bigger! We had so much fun on our little weekend getaway! It's not easy walking around a mall all day at 34 weeks pregnant though. I was BEAT at the end of the day. I definitely enjoyed swimming in the pool and soaking my feet in the hot tub. Avery absolutely loved the pool and had so much fun swimming!

I had a doctor's appointment on Thursday. I gained another 2 lbs since my last appointment, so that's a total weight gain of 11 lbs. Not too shabby compared to how much I gained at this point in my pregnancy with Avery. We get a sonogram at my next appointment on the 28th and I am so excited! I can't wait to see her adorable face. After that, it's weekly appointments. Eek!

So, we're having a bit of a problem with the new house. Apparently, the seller owes back taxes to the IRS and now there is a lean on the house. That means he can't sell us the house until he pays/gets things sorted out with the IRS. Major bummer. We have no idea how much he actually owes and how long it's going to take to get it figured out. We were supposed to close on the 14th. Oh, and we signed a contract stating that his ex wife that lives in the house could have 30 days after closing to get out. Well, we signed that thinking the closing date would be February 14th and we would take possession of the house on March 17th. Now that it's delayed (for who knows how long), she still is going to get 30 days after the closing! We're going to ask her to still go with the original date of March 17th, but I'm sure she won't go for it. Unfortunately, it's a divorce situation and she's trying to drag it out as much as she can. Prayers for this to all be sorted out would be appreciated! Everything happens for a reason, so we're just trusting God's plan and not stressing over it.

Belly Measurement: 40 1/4"

Weight: 142 lbs. (total weight gain: 9 lbs, gained 4 lbs in 2 weeks since last appointment!)

This week I'm actually getting in gear and starting to get organised! I went through all of Avery's newborn, 0-3, and 3-6 months clothes to see what I want to keep/get rid of. I'm so glad that they will basically be in the same season! I also went through and sorted all of the new clothes I've bought for her. I'd say she's set! Now I just need to wash and put them away.

This weekend Avery and I are going on a weekend shopping trip with my parents, grandma, & aunt. We'll be staying two nights in a hotel and shopping all day Saturday at a big mall! I'm so looking forward to swimming in the hotel pool with Avery (I squeezed into my swimsuit! It's a little snug, but it'll get the job done! ha!) and getting some cute things for Avery's summer wardrobe. It'll be nice to get away and out of the routine of everyday.

32 Weeks

Belly Measurement: 40 1/8"

8 weeks to go! That is insane! I'm getting so so excited to meet this little girl. I'm pretty sure we're getting another sonogram at 36 weeks so I'm looking forward to that too! I really want to double check that she's still a she. The weeks are just flying by!

In house news, the new house will officially be ours March 17th! Yes, that is 8 days before I'm due. Because of the timing, we'll be bringing Elise home to our current house and won't be moving into the new one until we get all of the work done on it. We'll be replacing all the floors, windows, re doing the kitchen and bathrooms, painting, scraping ceilings, and who knows what else. We also have to get our current house ready to sell. Now that I've accepted that we won't be in the the new house before Elise gets here, I really need to start preparing for her arrival! I really haven't done anything. I haven't bought any diapers, the stroller, or car seat. I've really just bought some clothes for her and that's about it. I need to wash all of her clothes, organize the spare room to put her clothes in, get the bassinet and swing out, and just all over get my house in order.
