My baby girl is growing so fast! It's crazy that I can hardly remember her right when she was born. She is such a happy baby and is smiling all the time.
On another note, I got mastitis from breastfeeding. It is awful! It felt just like I had the flu and it just so happened that I was SO SICK on my husbands first father's day :( I got antibiotics that I'm taking for it now and I feel 100% better. I'm feeding Avery formula for now because I've heard that the baby can get thrush from having the breastmilk with antibiotics in it. I am however, giving her one feeding of breastmilk a day.

hey girl!! im soooo sorry to hear that you got mastitis!! i hope i didn't jinks you! =) but im glad to know your doing better- just wanted to tell you that avery getting sick from you bf her is VERY unlikely! it will actually help you to get better faster and the chances of it coming back are very rare. it infection CAN come from the babies mouth- so you don't have to worry about anything else really happening- and you also wont have to worry about losing any of your supply- i know im throwing like 10 things at you!! =) and i also know i HATE when ppl try to give me unwanted advice! so i hope im not imposing!! =) but i do hope all is well! avery is just beautiful! its hard for me to even believe its been 7 weks!! CRAZY!! im getting into doing YouTube VLOGS- in-case you have an account and want to follow- i kinda of look like a goof right now! NOT knowing what im doing!! <3 Anyway, sorry for writing a book- =) And GOOD LUCK!
ReplyDeleteYea I thought it was weird that I just read your blog about you having mastitis and I got it the next day...figures right! haha Oh no you're definitely not imposing, I'll take any advice I can get :) I was just pumping and dumping my milk but I don't want to keep giving her formula all the time so I'll just go back to giving her all breastmilk. Ooh, I'm like a youtube junkie so I'll definitely follow you on there! What's the name of your channel?
