23 Weeks

Belly Measurement: 37 3/4"

This week unfortunately I caught a 24 hour flu (that my husband has also) and it's AWFUL! I feel like I can't be a mom to Avery and it's killing me. I'm also trying not to worry about Elise. I hope she isn't affected by all the throwing up etc. :( 

                                                

22 Weeks

Belly Measurement: 37"

We went to visit my husband's family in Massachusetts for Thanksgiving. It was a really nice trip and it will be the last time we see them before Elise is born!

Sonogram Pictures- 18 Weeks 3 Days

The sonogram was amazing! We just love her so much. She was really stubborn about letting us get a good 3d shot of her face and was curled up in a ball! I got a lot better pictures of Avery at her 18 weeks sonogram (here). I can't wait until we get to see her again around 36 weeks.

21 Weeks

Belly Measurement: 37"

 This baby girl is still so LOW! She loves to kick Mama's bladder/cervix. It's so exciting feeling her rolling movements in there! I'm getting so anxious to meet her. Is it March yet?! This week, baby is about 10 1/2 inches long (head to toe) and that is just crazy to me! That's big!

I got all of Avery's newborn/ 0-3 months clothes out and I'm so excited to go through them. It'll be so fun to see Avery's old outfits on Elise. I'm just so giddy to be having another girl! Avery had so many clothes that she only wore once, so I'm so happy I get to re-use them.

I'm just so in love with this little girl. Mommy & Daddy (and many other people who love you) can't wait to meet you!!

Halloween 2012

Avery was Little Red Riding Hood this year and she was so cute! She had so much fun trick or treating this year and got lots of candy.

20 Weeks

Belly Measurement: 36 3/4"

We're halfway there! This pregnancy is just flying by. I can't wait to meet this little girl! Her movements are getting so much stronger and I LOVE it! She moves all the time and it's still just so amazing to think of this precious life growing inside of me. Usually when I try to have other people feel her move she stops moving, but two days ago both of my parents got to feel her move! That was so exciting because she gave them a big kick! She seems to be lower than what Avery was at this point. Her movements are pretty low and it feels like she's kicking my bladder at times already!

One thing is that I am craving cereal, just like I did when I was pregnant with Avery. I've had a bowl of fruity/cocoa pebbles every morning and night for the past week. Don't judge me. I also HAD to have Chinese tonight because I needed peanut butter chicken. Yes, needed. Since my appetite is growing, I think I've probably stopped losing weight and started gaining some back. We'll find out at my appointment tomorrow! I was still down 6lbs. at my appointment four weeks ago. 

I also wanted to share that we are naming our little girl Elise Faith. I love the name and it is so incredibly cute hearing Avery say it! She knows that Elise is in mommy's belly and she likes to check her heartbeat with her little toy stethoscope. Way cute! She is going to be such a good big sister and I can't wait to see the two of them together.
